The Clarion Hotel was clean and comfortable. The food and drinks in bar area were fine. The shuttle to the airport was on time and the driver was very pleasant. However, on our return flight-that was a different story-we experienced a horrible shuttle service experience. This was a "red eye" flight that landed around 6:10 am. We called the Clarion Hotel and we're told it would be there at 6:40am-at 6:50 no shuttle-we called and was advised it would be there in about ten minutes, again, no shuttle. We called two more times, just to be told it would be there in 10 minutes. We saw several shuttles from other hotels pick up several times within that hour, but no Clarion Shuttle. Finally, we hired a taxi to take us to the Clarion. Guess what, as we were pulling into the parking lot at the Clarion, the shuttle was leaving! Guess the driver was taking a breakfast break before coming to get us... Needless to say, we have marked the Clarion Hotel off our list to Park and Fly!

Friendly and Exceptional service by Robert who drove us to the airport. We routinely stay at the Clarion when we fly out of Charlotte. Beds are very comfortable and find this a great value for the Park and Fly.

When we arrived at Hotel, Desk clerk never even made eye contact. He was busy with his Ipad, his phone and headphones all distracting him. He could not knowledgeably answer any questions about the process of leaving the car and what if any info we needed to provide about my car that was going to be there for 5 days. Upon returning to the motel to pick up my car, I noticed that a separate charge of 98.00 had been applied to my card. I called "Jackie" and she became very rude to me and I pointed out that she was being rude, she hung up on me. I called back, asked for a number for a manager, I was told that there was not a manager on duty. I asked for a number for corporate office, she told me there was not a number, on a email. I was very upset, felt like I was in a bad dream.
